They carefully select the sellers they work with, so in order to create a strong brand identity you need to make sure your product photos are up to scratch and meet their photography guidelines.
NOT ON THE HIGH STREET IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
Photography is vital to the overall success of a NOTHS store. It’s important that your products are presented clearly, and that the images inspire potential customers to find out more and hopefully make a purchase!
Your product needs to fill 80% of the image, and any personalisation details must be clearly in focus.
Stick to light-coloured backgrounds, and create a scene that is relevant to the product being displayed.
Consider using people or pets to help demonstrate your products, as these images perform very well on Not On The High Street.
Any images uploaded to NOTHS must be square – at least 900 x 900 pixels – and of the highest resolution and quality possible.
NOT ON THE HIGH STREET IMAGE OPTIMISATION
When it comes to things you can do to increase your sales on NOTHS, helping customers find your products is critical. To help Google, NOTHS search, and other search engines direct customers to your products you need to pay close attention to your image file name (amongst other things such as your product description, title and categories). When you upload your product images to the CMS, you need to make sure that your image name accurately describes your product.
